Review Of L’occitane 5 Essential Oils Shampoo And Conditioner

Pros:

Gives hair a nice volume.

Cons:

Does not help frizz.

More:

This shampoo and conditioner was given to me by a friend, so I had zero expectations, not picking them up myself. I love L’occitane, but due to how expensive they are, I have never purchased anything from them, and hope that they will finally start having real proper sales soon, so that you can enjoy their french goodies without killing your budget.

The shampoo and conditioner contrain five essential oils: ylang-ylang, sweet orange, lavender, geranium and angelica. It smells delicious, and using it for the first time I can notice a great difference, feeling that my hair is softer and has a very nice volume (my hair is very crazy, so when it looks a tiny bit like it is under control I fall in love with the product responsible). It actually looks like I had a minor blow-dry rather then being crazy, as it usually is the day after I’ve washed my hair. But my hair is still not that soft, and I need to oils and leave-in-conditioner. Usually I wash my hair every fifth day since its soo big and turns oily otherwise, but after using this shampoo and conditioner it already feels dirty on the third/fourth day. Also they don’t help against frizz, which also is a big minus.

By a way of conclusion, I think this shampoo and conditioner are nice, smell good and feel luxurious, but they are not worth their (high) price.
