The Best Facial Masks out there – The complete list

Those of you who have followed this blog for a while know that I do have a craze for facial masks – they are a cheap(er) alternative to getting an actual salon facial and a quick way to make your skin look and feel fab. I have a whole shelf for my masks at home, and I‘m a bit embarrassed to admit that I add at least one to my collection every month (an expensive but satisfying habit). After trying my way through loads and loads of masks here is the top five of my favourites..since we are a critical blog a post of the worst masks out is to follow (next week..so stay tuned).

  1. Of all the hydrating masks out there I find the Origins drink up intense mask the best on the market. Not only does it make your skin super hydrated, but the package lasts for several years and its easy to apply. I have tried so many overnight masks but this one is “the one” for me. 2. Kiehl‘s Algea mask is sticky but shows results already after 10 minutes, serving as a hydration bomb. Generally I think Kiehl‘s shows an uneven consistency of the quality of their things, but this mask is a winner and a great investment, containing algeas, green tea and calendula, it calms down my skin and makes it very very happy. 3. It‘s always nice to know that the people behind what you put on your face have some serious brain power, therefor we are fans of the Danish brand Beauté Pacifique , which was started by scientists from Novo Nordisk (they make insulin which doesn‘t equal faca care in my world but still gives the brand some serious credibility). The instant hydrating mask is like a fat cream that you put on overnight and voila – your skin gets a bomb of hydration with some visible changes the next day. Read the full review here.
  4. The Clarins Beauty Flash Balm is my best friend – I have used it for the past 5 years, and though I never actually used it as a mask, but just as a face cream – I wanted to put it on the list to share with you guys. This is a “Cinderella” cream – meaning it makes your skin glowing and is a saviour when you feel like your face looks like your beeep (you know what I wanted to say). It is e x p e n s i v e but so worth it. Read the full review here.
  5. A good budget alternative is The Body Shop Acai Face mask, which was just recently reviewed by moi. It makes blood flow to your face and give a great glow. It‘s not  the most WOW mask I have ever tried, but it smells great, feels luxurious and the result is decent – especially for the price. Read full review here.

Hope you enjoyed the list and let me know which masks you are using!
