Mor Candied Vanilla Hand And Body Lotion

Pros:

Dries in quickly and smells delicious.

Cons:

Does not help the dries of all chicken skin.

More:

This is my first product from Australian Mor. I was instantly hocked on Mors packaging (they all look like they belong in a very fancy bathroom), and the names of their scents (Sugar Rose and Black Iris sounds just like my taste).

The scent Candied Vanilla is pretty heavy and sweet, but once you put it on your skin it settles in well and feels light on (aka you don‘t smell like a whole perfume department). I also like that it has a light texture, and is absorbed very fast into my skin. It is a very moisturising lotion both for my body and hands, but it doesn‘t make some superdry patches on my legs disappear. I like the pump function on the bottle, and that it‘s so pretty it makes my bathroom look like a real boudoir (or at least on in the making).

Biotherm Lait Corporel Review

Pros:

Smells fresh of citrus.

Cons:

Needs to re-applied several times for a good hydrating effect and the smell doesn’t last more than 30 minutes.

More:

This body milk is the dinosaur of body lotions, it has been around since 1971 (did it go to Woodstock I wonder).

This body milk comes in a big package and you need it. First of all it is not a lotion but a body milk, so the consistency is pretty light. It does hydrate your skin leaving it very smooth, but you need a big amount per use for dry skin. It has a very fresh smell of citrus but unfortunately the smell does not last long.

So basically this is an ok body milk, which manages to hydrate your skin, has a nice silky texture, but is nothing extraordinary and since the smell doesn’t last for long, my guess is that you can find a cheaper version at the pharmacy. If I buy expensive body lotions it’s because they smell extraordinary or do miracles for my skin, this one does neither, even though it leaves your skin silky and smooth (after using a handful).

Review of Nivea Soft face/body/hand cream

Pros:

Helps all dry skin, even the peeling one.

Cons:

Takes long time to dry and due to the thick consistency impossible to only use a thin layer.

More:

I have used this cream for the past 10 years, at least. I think most of us have tried it at some point and recognise “the Nivea” smell. I even use it on my lips when they get horribly dry, it tastes horrible and Im not sure I recommend it to anybody else, but it helps me.

This cream is thick, so its impossible to apply a thin layer, and therefore it takes it a long time to dry. But it helps re-hydrating dry skin, no matter what state its in. Its really fat and I usually use it as my last resource on my peeling legs after vacation. Due to the cheap price I’m generous with the stars.
