The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Face mask Review

Loving the ingredients – bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves and organic tea tree oil

No effect on my (black) pores.

I‘m a fan of this line of face masks from Body Shop because despite the reasonable price they have some exciting ingredients and are pretty efficient and hold on to their promises  – of course they are not La Mer and they will not transform your face in the blink of an eye – I have yet to meet a budget face mask that does that.

When applying this mask I feel like I‘m in a spa – mud masks have that effect on me. My skin tingles a bit during application – which it‘s supposed to according to the description – and my skin was never red after removal of the mask. It is not sticky and dries in pretty fast, also letting it stay on until it is dry has been enough for me. It is easy to remove and my skin feels very soft afterwards, all excess oil is removed and I truly feel like I just had a mini spa session.

The mask is 100% vegan, doesn‘t contain any parabens and has some very nice ingredients (bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves and organic tea tree oil).

Just as you thought we would go on and on about how great this mask is – I will stop myself – because after all very are critical too..The problem with charcoal masks is that they always promise to remove impurities and make your black pores smaller/ disappear – that has never happened to me – honestly my pores are still black, big , scary and very much there.
