l’occitane Lavender Hand Cream Review

62598646

Pros:

Very hydrating.

Cons:

The price.

More:

I think this hand cream is on the wish list of most francophiliac lavender lovers – and boy was I excited when I received this one under my christmas three by my very sweet santa. This hand cream is very moisturizing, not sticky, and got absorbed into my skin super fast. Overall the quality was great, and I really liked that the cream has a very light consistency and the smell of lavender lingered on for long. Plus the tube is very nice, but then again I‘m a sucker for all french things. The minus is the price, and you don‘t get so much for the heavy price.

Review Of L’occitane 5 Essential Oils Shampoo And Conditioner

Pros:

Gives hair a nice volume.

Cons:

Does not help frizz.

More:

This shampoo and conditioner was given to me by a friend, so I had zero expectations, not picking them up myself. I love L’occitane, but due to how expensive they are, I have never purchased anything from them, and hope that they will finally start having real proper sales soon, so that you can enjoy their french goodies without killing your budget.

The shampoo and conditioner contrain five essential oils: ylang-ylang, sweet orange, lavender, geranium and angelica. It smells delicious, and using it for the first time I can notice a great difference, feeling that my hair is softer and has a very nice volume (my hair is very crazy, so when it looks a tiny bit like it is under control I fall in love with the product responsible). It actually looks like I had a minor blow-dry rather then being crazy, as it usually is the day after I’ve washed my hair. But my hair is still not that soft, and I need to oils and leave-in-conditioner. Usually I wash my hair every fifth day since its soo big and turns oily otherwise, but after using this shampoo and conditioner it already feels dirty on the third/fourth day. Also they don’t help against frizz, which also is a big minus.

By a way of conclusion, I think this shampoo and conditioner are nice, smell good and feel luxurious, but they are not worth their (high) price.

L’occitane Almond Cleansing & Soothing Shower Oil Review

Pros:

You only need a small amount and it does what it promises.

Cons:

It’s in the expensive end (but it’s very good…).

More:

I’ve been using this oil for 2 years. I have tried many different shower oils, but always return to this one, this due to the good quality. It lasts for around 6 months when me and my boyfriend use it daily and the bottle is 250 ml. It makes you feel clean and makes your skin soft just like it promises, and it actually smells of almond. Also my skin doesn’t turn dry afterwards, I still use body lotion after sometimes, but it’s not really necessary. Many other oils have left my skin feeling greasy, this one doesn’t.
