ACO Body Lotion Wild Honey Review

aco_bodylotion_wildhoney

Pros:

Very hydrating.

Cons:

Takes a while to get absorbed.

More:

This is yet again one of those beauty products my boyfriend stole from me – and I haven‘t seen it ever since. I got this body lotion to make sure my skin would‘t get the texture of old paper after our sunny vacation – and it has worked very well (boyfriend agrees). It was also friendly to my post-vacation (and too many shopping trips) wallet – which one could say has suffered enough for 2017…

The lotion has a discreet sweet smell, and makes my post-tan skin very hydrated. Its very fat in texture, due to this it takes a while to get absorbed. The bottle lasts me a few months and I would definitely recommend this one to any girlfriend whose boyfriend likes to steal her expensive bathroom goodies – its much cheaper this way.

Kiehl’s ultimate strength hand salve review

Pros:

Makes your hands softer after just a few days use.

Cons:

Smells like a hospital.

More:

My battle against dry winter hands continues. I associate salves with a hospital setting, and this one proved to be no different, it it very fat (like a salve you would use on a baby) but unfortunately it smells of medication. Paying so much money for something that smells so bad, is just not worth it in my eyes. Sure I can really notice a difference after a couple of days use (my hands go from super-winter dry to medium-start autumn dry) and you only need a small amount per application, but this salve takes ages to dry and the smell is just awful.

Save your money and use some coconut oil instead.

Review of Apotekets Deo Roll-on

Pros:

It don’t smell of anything, it’s perfectly neutral and light.

Cons:

It doesn’t dry immediately.

More:

I know writing about a deodorant is pretty unglamorous, but a girl needs to always smell nice (even after skipping a well-needed shower and then biking for 40 minutes to work..)

I know giving this deo 5 stars in two  out of three categories is a bit too enthusiastic, but I get very excited when I find a cheap budget product. This one is from the brand of the danish pharmacy, and it completely rocked my world in the deodorant department. It promises you to smell neutral for 24 hours, to dry fast and to not stain your clothes. Well it is super light, you dont feel like you are wearing it at all, and it has absolutely no smell whatsoever. It really doesn’t make you smell of anything at all: I have not tried 24 hours  without a shower (1 shower a day doesnt keep the boyfriend away) but I have tried 15-17…and nothing, even after biking long rides in a coat way to warm for the weather. No stains. But a bit slow to dry. It’s a keeper.
