Review of Smith’s Rosebud Salve

Pros:

Nice sleek packaging.

Cons:

Doesn‘t really help my dry lips.

More:

I‘m probably the last person on earth to try this balm, since these are practically available in Siberia by now. I got this balm from a friend, and was thrilled since the package is lovely in a cool way and the balm smells delicious. Before writing this review I decided to do some research about this balm, reading the history of Dr. Smith was a bit like reading a book missing half the pages, anyways, what I learned is that this man who was a teacher, all of a sudden was a “Dr.” owning a pharmacy, and that he loved going to miss America pageants (random facts – I‘m sorry its the worst biography I‘ve ever read). Back to the balm – is it really that great? NOO. It is fine, but no miracle to my dry lips, which remain dry after several applications. Though it feels ok pleasant on my lips, it is pretty sticky and doesn‘t really get absorbed. Also sticking your fingers into this balm is unhygienic. Doesn‘t perform any miracles on dry skin either.
